General minimum qualifications

1. MUST be a United States Citizen
2. AT LEAST 18 years of age for Communications and Detentions and 21 years of age for Patrol
3. High school graduate or G.E.D
4. Possess a valid Wyoming Drivers license upon employment
5. Ability to pass various physical, written, oral, and background tests

Disqualifications

• No Illicit drug use
• Use of any illegal drugs in the last 3 years
• Intentional omissions or falsifications regarding any portion of the employment process
• Felony convictions
• Domestic Violence convictions
• A military court-martial resulting in the dismissal of military service
