Victim / Witness Division

Duties

The Sublette County Victim / Witness Program was created to help ensure that victims and witnesses are treated with compassion, dignity, understanding, and respect by the criminal justice system.

Some of the services provided by this Division are:

• Referral for financial assistance and social services
• Case information and notification
• Preparation for court testimony
• Court accompaniment
• Explanation of the judicial system
• Return Witness Program for visitors
• Victim Impact Statement
• Advocacy for victim rights
• Wyoming Crime Victim Bill of Rights
• Wyoming Crime Victim Compensation Program
