I have questions concerning a specific case. Who do I ask?: Call (307) 367-2300 and our support staff will assist you. Identify whether the case is a misdemeanor, traffic, felony, etc.; the name of the defendant; and what your inquiry is. The support staff will relay your request to the attorney assigned to the case, and that attorney will determine if it is permissible to disseminate that information. The attorney may need to look into the matter and return your call, so please leave your contact information with the support staff.

1. I’ve been subpoenaed to court in a criminal matter. What do I do?: A subpoena is a court order for you to appear at the date and location indicated. Failure to appear could result in a warrant being issued for your arrest and other legal consequences. If you have any questions about your appearance, call the County Attorney's Office at (307) 367-2300.
It is not uncommon for a hearing to be continued or cancelled, sometimes with short notice. The County Attorney's Office will work diligently to advise all subpoenaed parties as to any changes in scheduling, but you should always contact the County Attorney's Office the day before the scheduled hearing to confirm that the hearing is proceeding as scheduled.
